Started in the year 1981, under the eminent leadership of Late Dr. Juliet D’Souza, the Department made humble beginning with few students and has since, grown into a single largest Department with 685 students (B.Com- 400; B.B.M – 100; M.Com – 120) out of 1275 students in the College.
The department has spread its wings by introducing B.B.M in the year 2005 and M.Com in the year 2011.

The Department of Commerce is one of the biggest departments in the college. The increase in the strength of the students indicates the success and efficiency of the Dept.
