Department of Political Science and IQAC has organised National Voters Day Celebration on 25-01-2021 at college premises. The objective of the program was to inculcate constitutional obligations among students, to create awareness about Universal Franchise, to sensitise the students about importance of voting. The program was started at 11:00 am. Sathish Kumar A.V, HoD of Department of Political Science has welcomed the teaching, non-teaching and students of the college. In his speech, he highlighted the significance of the voters’ day and the history of voters’ day. The purpose of the celebration is to inculcate constitutional obligations and to encourage staff and students to franchise their vote. Carmel Anjalica Joe, the student president read the voter’s day pledge and helped the staff and students to take pledge. The outcome of the program was Students and staff understood the importance of right to vote and Students and staff were took constitution day oath.
