Department of Political Science has organized Republic Day celebration on 26-01-2021 at Teresian College sports ground. The Program was started with flag hoisting, followed by National anthem. The flag was hosted by chief guest Sr. Gladys, The Manager, Teresian Institution. The Guest of Honour of the Day was Mrs. Vijayashreelatha S. of Teresian College.
The chief guest and other dignitaries were escorted by N.C.C students of our college. After the flag hoisting, Ms. Carmel Anjalica Joe, student president welcomed the chief guest and dignitaries for the programme. Speech on significance of the day was done by college students council members
The chief guest Sr. Gladys, addressed the students and in her speech she recalled the freedom movement and given a call to youngsters to have feeling of patriotism and contribute to the development of the country. Various cultural programmes like patriotic dance for patriotic songs and various patriotic songs were song by students. The Programme was ended with vote of thanks followed by sweet distribution.
Dr. Sr. Rohini, The Administrator, Teresian Collge, Dr. Veena M.D’Almeida, The Prinicipal, Teresian College, Sr. Jessy Ansu, The Prinicpal, Teresian P.U. Collge, IQAC coordinator, NAAC coordinator, teaching staff, non-teaching staff and students were took part in the celebration.
